Willshire group sponsors sets fundraiser

WILLSHIRE — Mark those calendars! Willshire Youth Activities will be sponsoring “Basket Bingo and More” on Sunday, January 26.

The event will be held at the Rockford Community Building.  Doors will open at noon, with bingo beginning at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20, which includes 20 games of bingo. The winner of each game will receive a Longaberger basket filled with a variety of items that are being donated by area businesses, individuals, and organizations.

A raffle will also be held the day of the event, with the winner receiving a Longaberger laundry hamper with lid. Homemade soup, sandwiches, and baked goods, as well as chips and drinks, will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will be used to support Willshire’s summer ball program. This event is in no way connected with, nor is it sponsored by, The Longaberger Company.
