Franklin Earl Rison Jr.

Franklin Earl Rison Jr., 54, of Paulding and formerly of Van Wert, died at 9:58 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014, at his residence.

He was born October 23, 1959, in Van Wert, the son of the late Franklin Earl Rison Sr. and Lou Ann (Emery) Rison. On November 20, 1996, he married Kathy Ann (Friedrich) Rison, who survives.

Other survivors include five children, Scott Rison, Tina (Jack) Gallimore and Bobby (Brittany) Gilbert, all of Van Wert, Bobbie Jo Rison of Coldwater and Maria (Shane Alvado) Gilbert of Paulding; four sister, Brenda Jean (Mike) Williams, Julie (Larry) Panning and Cheryl Duncan, all of Van Wert, and Ruth (Mike) Bell of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Jimmie (Becky) Rison of Fort Jennings; one half-sister, Sue Anderson of Lima; and 14 grandchildren.

A half-brother, Dennis Sudduth, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, January 17, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Don Coleman officiating.
