Kathryn Marcile Jenkins

Kathryn Marcile Jenkins, 96, of Van Wert, died at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

She was born May 5, 1917, in Grover Hill, the daughter of the late Lee M. and Belva (Sherry) Ross. On June 25, 1935, she married Clifford James Jenkins, who preceded her in death on October 18, 1992.

Survivors include two sisters, Doris Jean (Robert) Long of Middle Point and Ruth Marie Crone of Grover Hill; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Two children, Jimmie Lee Jenkins and Judith A. Lewis; a brother, Lee McKinley Ross Jr.; and one granddaughter, Dawn Renee Brown Endicott, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were handled by Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
