Knight boys get easy win over Lancers

The undefeated Crestview Knights stayed that way with an easy 60-31 victory over cross-country rival Lincolnview in a Northwest Conference game played Friday night at Lincolnview.

The Knights led 15-6 at the end of the first quarter and were up by a whopping 21 points, 33-12, at the half. The second half was closer, with Crestview scoring 27 points in the half, compared to 19 for the Lancers, but the outcome was never in doubt.

Nick Williams was the only Lincolnview player in double figures with 11 points on the night. The Knights had three players in double figures, led by Damian Helm’s 12 points. Connor Lautzenheiser and Cam Etzler each had 10 points for unbeaten Crestview, which is now 11-0 on the year, 4-0 in league play. The Lancers fall to 6-5 on the season and are 3-1 in NWC play.
