Latta joins March for Life event in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) joined the 41st National March for Life event in Washington, D.C.

Following the March, Latta hosted a congressional reception for hundreds of constituents who attended the pro-life rally today.

“Today we mark the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the United States,” Latta said. “This misguided decision has tragically denied tens of millions of babies the right to life since 1973.

“As tens of thousands of pro-lifers across the country, including hundreds of Ohioans from the Fifth District, gather in Washington, D.C., for the March for Life, I thank you for your efforts and unwavering dedication in protecting the lives of the unborn and defending the sanctity of life,” Latta added. “I remain committed to fighting with you in safeguarding this basic and fundamental right to life.”
