State representative files for re-election

COLUMBUS — State Representative Tony Burkley has filed petitions to run for re-election in the May primary.

Burkley is currently in his first two-year term as a state representative serving the 82nd District. The 82nd District includes the counties of Defiance, Paulding, Van Wert, and a portion of Auglaize County.

Burkley previously served as Paulding County commissioner for 16 years. Currently, he serves on the Agriculture and Natural Resources, State and Local Government, and Economic Development and Regulatory Reform committees in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Burkley resides at rural Payne with his wife, Nancy.
