Hermit Crab Race fundraiser planned

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and the Van Wert Community Club are hosting their third annual Hermit Crab Races on Saturday, February 22, at the VFW post, 111 N. Shannon St. in Van Wert.

Doors open at 6 p.m. that day, with races run from 7-10 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public. Food and drink will be served throughout the night.  The theme this year is “Super Heroes”.
