Mobile dental center now serving city

The Smile Express, a dental office on wheels, is providing low-cost dental services to Van Wert County on a monthly basis.

Smile Express is a 40-foot mobile dental center that makes regular visits to Van Wert County at Family Health Care of Northwest Ohio location, 1052 S. Washington St. Smile Express provides quality dental care for people of all ages who are at 300 percent or less of the federal poverty guidelines.

The Dental Center of Northwest Ohio accepts Medicaid, Medicaid HMOs and most private insurances. Uninsured children are seen for $25, while uninsured adults are seen at a 50-65 percent fixed rate from private dental office fees.
