YM schedules basketball tourney sign-up

YMCA of Van Wert County information

The YMCA of Van Wert County announces registration for the second annual Van Wert YMCA Classic for third grade boys’ teams.

The tournament will be played at the YMCA of Van Wert County on Saturday, March 1.  The entry fee is $80 for the tourney, which is under the direction of YMCA Programs Director Mitch Price. The tournament will offer a concession stand during every game and a small admission fee of $3 for adults and $2 for students. Players and coaches are admitted free.

Registration is also underway for the YMCA girls’ basketball tournaments at the YMCA.  Girls in grades 4-6 will play Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9,in their own age divisions.

Entry fee is $80 per team and all teams are guaranteed three games minimum. All games will be held at the YMCA of Van Wert County, 241 W. Main St. in Van Wert.

The tournament will also offer a concession stand during every game and a small admission fee of $3 for adults and $2 for students.  Players and coaches are admitted free.
