Alice C. Lisk
Alice C. Lisk, 91, of Van Wert, died at 1:40 a.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born September 12, 1922, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Martin) Hartlieb. On March 12, 1945, she married Robert Dirham, who preceded her in death in 1989. On June 27, 1998, she married Harold “Pete” Lisk, who also preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include three children, Heather Annette (Robert) Miller of Paulding, Richard S. Dirham of Van Wert and Tina M. Woulfe of Lakewood, Colo.; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Ben) Bangert, Michael (Deedi) Miller, Melinda (Kurt) Newman, Eric (Sarah) Dirham, Jason (Kara) Dirham, Johnathon Dirham, Rebecca (Brennan) Mann and Meghan Hamilton; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Eleven siblings also preceded her in death.
Alice was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, its Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and 300 Club. She was a longtime clerical employee of the former West Ohio Gas Company, both in Van Wert and Lima.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Stanley Szybka officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, March 6, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a parish vigil service will be held at 8 that evening.
Preferred memorials: St. Vincent DePaul Society, Community Health Professionals-Hospice or Masses.
