Lincolnview play coming this weekend
Lincolnview Drama Club information
Just a reminder that the students of Lincolnview Drama Club are performing the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy You Can’t Take it With You by George Kaufman and Moss Hart this weekend. This popular play, set in the 1930s, during America’s Great Depression, dives into themes about happiness and the importance of family.
The quirky, and at times completely looney, Vanderhof family teaches people that it’s vital to do what one loves regardless of what society may tell you.
The Lincolnview Drama Club production has 17 current students: Tyler Stewart, Zoey Lippi, Mikinzie Dull, Brooke Lehman, Daniel Sanderson, Stephanie Longwell, Allison Berryman, Max Rice, Nick Hammond, Elizabeth Morgan, Jacob Bradford, Danielle Dasher, Jayden Dickson, Courtney Wendel, Dylan Neate, Lainie Jones, and Frankie Carrie. Offstage Productions’ member Dan Bulau completes the cast.
Drama Club members are also excited to announce that this spring’s performances will take place at the Van Wert Civic Theatre on April 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and April 13 at 2 p.m.
“We couldn’t be more excited to showcase Van Wert’s active Civic Theatre and to bring new faces to its stage,” said Drama Club advisor Crystal Cully.
Tickets will be available through cast members for $10 each and at the door. Come support Lincolnview students’ hard work at this spring’s production of You Can’t Take it With You.
