Margaret A. Geise

Margaret A. “Peg” Geise, 87, of Delphos, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born January 25, 1927, in Allen County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Leona (Molter) Swick. On August 13, 1947, she married Donald J. Geise, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sons, Tony (Mary Jo) Geise of Findlay and Joe (Jan) Geise, Mark Geise and Andrew M. (Nicole) Geise, all of Delphos; three daughters, Ann (Gary) Stetler, Carol (Nick Reynolds) Rode and Dona (Ray) Combs, all of Delphos; two brothers, William (Marie) Swick and James (Barb) Swick; a sister-in-law, Rosie Swick; four brothers-in-law, James (Barb) Geise, Roger (Celeste) Geise, Charles (Eileen) Geise and Thomas Geise; 16 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Tom Agnes Swick, Robert Swick, Helen and Ed Clark; a grandson, Bryan Reidenbach; and a great-granddaughter, Amanda Branham, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.

Preferred memorials: State of the Heart Hospice, St. John’s Parish or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
