AAUW names summer camp recipients

The Van Wert Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) announces the recipients of the Summer 2014 educational camp scholarships given by the Branch, in partnership with the Van Wert County Foundation.

Caroline Kopack, daughter of Amy and Brian Kopack of Van Wert, will be attending Be Wise Camp in June at Denison University in Granville. She is a seventh grade student at Delphos St. John’s Junior High School.

Attending Camp GEMS at Ohio Northern University in July will be Alaina Arney, daughter of Heidi and Rich Arney, and Sydney Maller, daughter of Daniece Maller. Both are sixth-grade students at Van Wert Middle School.

These summer educational camp opportunities are some of the many local projects that are sponsored by the Van Wert AAUW Branch.
