CELINA — The Lincolnview Junior High baseball team defeated the Celina eighth grade 16-9 in Lincolnview’s season opener on Tuesday at Celina.

Chayten Overholt and Caden Ringwald each went 3-for-4 at the plate. Ethan Parsons, Ethan Kemler, and Overholt combined pitching efforts, with Overholt getting the win.

All 13 Lancer players reached base and provided a solid defensive effort.
