Bunny Hopper Rabbit Club

The Bunny Hoppers met at the end of March with 38 members, 18 parents, and two visitors present. In the business meeting we discussed the changes for the fair for the doe and litter category, and the change of the weights of meat pens and single fryers from 3 to 5 pounds to 4 to 6 pounds. In addition we learned the advantage to being an ARBA member. Allison Hauter explained and demonstrated Mini Lop Rabbits.

In the education portion of the meeting Advisor Wortman and Advisor Klinger presented rabbit health and rabbit first aid. The meeting ended with refreshments and fun with rabbits.

The next meeting will be Thursday, April 10, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Our annual national sanctioned rabbit show will be on Sunday, April 27, at the fairgrounds. If you would like to see examples of the 47 different breeds of rabbits, hop on out for the rabbit show.
