Injury accident

At least one person was injured in an accident that occurred at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Ohio 49 early Monday afternoon. Troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash, which occurred around 12:45 p.m. Monday. According to initial reports, a southbound sedan attempting to cross U.S. 30 from the Ohio 49 intersection failed to yield the right of way and hit a hatchback auto driven east on U.S. 30.
