Human trafficking program announced

YWCA of VW County information

The AAUW is partnering with the YWCA of Van Wert County to present a public forum on “Human Trafficking: Ohio’s Tragic Reality” presented by Laurel Neufeld Weaver on Thursday, May 22, at 7 p.m.

Laurel Neufeld Weaver is the rape crisis coordinator for Allen County Crime Victim Services, which helps victims prevail over the trauma of their victimization by assisting and advocating for safety, healing, justice and restitution.

Weaver will present facts and information on sex trafficking, labor trafficking and child sex trafficking. This presentation is free to the public and will be held in the Community Room at Vantage Career Center.
