2014 Flowers in Full Bloom announced

The Peony Festival Committee would like to announce the five women who will be honored as Flowers in Full Bloom during the 2014 Peony Festival, set for the weekend of June 6-8.

The 2014 Flowers in Full Bloom are Doris Evans, Eloise Biro, Phyllis Rice, Shirley Jarvis, and Jane Bonifas. These five women, all ages 65 years young and older, all exemplify the best in character, service, and dedication. They are caring, giving, have provided a benefit to others and to their community and projects that they have been involved with, truly making Van Wert a better place. They show their fellow county residents all a fuller sense of beauty.

Flowers in Full Bloom selectees will be honored at a reception open to the public on Saturday, June 7, at Willow Bend Country Club, starting at 1:30 p.m. The Flowers in Full Bloom Reception and Queen Jubilee’s Tea is open to the public.
