Say “cheese”!

On Thursday May 22 at 7 p.m. the Wassenberg Art Center Camera Club will host a free seminar on “Managing Digital Pictures” at the Wassenberg Art Center, 214 South Washington Street in Van Wert. The program will not deal with how to take digital pictures, but rather with what to do with them once you take them.
Topics to be covered will include: transferring images from your camera (including cell phones and tablets) to your computer, organizing files for easy reference and retrieval, renaming and resizing files depending on their intended use, backing up files and sharing or emailing files.
Techniques will be demonstrated on a Windows based computer using software that is free, readily available and easy to use. Use of some of the more popular commercial digital image software will also be covered.
The program will be led by club president Chris Wilson, who has over 40 years of experience in working with computer and internet technology.
Wassenberg Camera Club meetings are open to anyone who has an interest in photography. If you have any questions regarding our camera club, classes or programs or would like to sign up please call the Wassenberg Art Center at: 419.238.6837, email: info@wassenbergartcenter.org or register for classes online at: wassenbergartcenter.org.
