Holiday at Home information

The Holiday at Home Parade Committee invites anyone interested to participate in the annual Fourth of July Parade. The parade will be held Friday, July 4, beginning at 11 a.m. All types of parade units are welcome.

Awards will be given for “Best Marching Unit,” “Best Commercial Unit,” “Best Non-Commercial Unit,” “Best Antique Vehicle” and “Judges’ Choice.”

The parade lineup starts promptly at 11 that morning at the corner of Main and Cherry streets (beside the YWCA), and the parade will proceed down Main Street to the intersection of Main and Shannon streets, where it will head north.

Anyone interested in participating in the parade may obtain a registration form from the Holiday at Home Parade Committee at the Board of Elections, 120 E. Main St. in Van Wert, or by contacting Linda Stutz at 419.238.4192 (work) or 419.238.2901 (home) or 419.605.2925 (mobile).
