City flag football registrations now open

The Van Wert Parks Department has now opened registration for its NFL Flag Football program. The fee will be $35 for a single child, $60 for two children of the same family, and $75 for three or more children in a family.

The deadline to register is July 25. Registration forms can be obtained on the Van Wert Parks and Recreation website at www.vanwert.org, or picked up at the Parks Department office, 137 Gleason Ave. in Van Wert.

Age groups for the program are 5-7 and 8-10 year olds. All games will be on Tuesdays at Smiley Park for ages 5-7, and Thursdays for 8-10 year olds.
