VW downs Paulding in volleyball action

PAULDING — The Van Wert Cougars were back in action Thursday night at the Paulding Panthers’ gym in their second match of the season, with Van Wert defeating the Panthers in three games, 25-20, 25-8 and 26-17.

The Cougars played a great match and were very focused on their offensive game. Van Wert is now 2-0 on the season.

The Cougars are back in action on Monday night when they take on Delphos St. Johns away.

The Van Wert junior varsity team defeated Paulding in two games 25-21 and 25-16. The Van Wert freshmen fell to Paulding in three games, 25-23, 19-25 and 18-25.
