CONVOY — Convoy Community Days will be celebrated Saturday, September 27. Many events are being planned for the one-day festival for all ages. The 2014 theme will be “Winning State of Mind”, with the 2014 Division IV state basketball champion Crestview Knights selected as grand marshals of the 2014 Community Days Parade, to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with line-up at 1 that afternoon at Edgewood Park. The parade route proceeds from the park down Main Street, then heads east on Tully Street before ending at Crestview Local Schools

Other Community Days events include the Convoy Fire & EMS Pancake Breakfast, basket bingo, pulled pork dinner, Convoy Lions Club bingo — all to be held in the Edgewood Park Building. A Kiddy Tractor Pull, kids’ games and activities, Mark’s Ark animal show, the Peep Squeak & Clarabelle Clown Show, “Convoy’s Got Talent” talent show, a dead sprint, movies in the parking lot and a reverse raffle will be held downtown. Also, the Tully Street Market will have crafts, local entrepreneurs and churches selling products and food downtown.
