Cougar volleyball team downs Shawnee

Van Wert volleyball information

The Van Wert Cougars were back in action Thursday night as they took on Lima Shawnee in their second Western Buckeye League match of the season.

The Cougars came out strong and didn’t look back, defeating Shawnee in three straight games: 25-17, 25-17 and 25-17. The Cougars are now 6-1 on the season and 1-1 in the WBL.

The junior varsity team was defeated by Shawnee in three games and is now 5-2 on the season.
