Patricia A. Dunifon

Patricia A. Dunifon, 87, of Van Wert, died at 11:52 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born July 15, 1927, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Eugene and Cleo (Kohn) Gekler. On July 6, 1946, she married Doyt R. Dunifon, who preceded her in death on June 6, 1999.

Survivors include two children, Keith A. Dunifon and Kay L. (Carl) Johns, both of Van Wert; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 8, at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial: Donor’s choice.
