Crestview, VW set ‘Kick for the Cure’

CONVOY — The Crestview and Van Wert girls’ soccer teams will once again be teaming together to kick for an end to breast cancer at their fifth annual Kick for the Cure game on Saturday, September 27, starting at 1 p.m. at Crestview High School.

The teams will be selling black Kick for the Cure t-shirts for $10. New this year, $1 Kickin’ for the Cure nametags will also be sold and will be displayed on the fence during the game.

Crestview soccer players will be selling the items at home Crestview football games on September 12 and 19, and will also be taking t-shirt orders then. See any player to order t-shirt or to give a donation.

Murphy’s Trash Services has generously committed to matching all funds raised by both teams and will donate to a player’s mom in her fight against breast cancer.
