Virginia Giffin Hunt

Virginia Giffin Hunt of Greenbelt, Md., and formerly of Van Wert County, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, after complications from a fall.

She was born in 1921 in Van Wert County. She married Howard Hunt, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen (Melinda) Hunt and Christopher (Rene) Hunt; three grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Mary Ann Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
