Knight boys’ track team 7th at tourney

VERSAILLES — The Crestview Knights boys’ track team finished seventh of eight teams at the Tiger Classique Invitational track meet at Versailles on Saturday.

Crestview’s top finisher was Zach Merkle, who was third in the 300-meter high hurdles in a time of 44.42 seconds.

Garret Gleckler was fourth in the 3200-meter run in a time of 10:47.90, while Rob Cook was fourth in the high jump at 17, feet, 6 inches, and the 4×800-meter relay team consisting of Gleckler, Micah Brant, Diego Palacios and Joel Genter in a time of 9:14.90 (click here for more Crestview individual results).
