Christmas Garden donation

The lighting of the Children’s Christmas Garden at Smiley Park will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 26. The event transforms Smiley Park’s Children’s Garden into a winter wonderland of lights, candy canes, Santa and so much more. The Lighting Committee would like to thank Van Wert Federal Savings Bank for its generous donation, along with the following businesses: First Federal Savings & Loan, Greve Chrysler, Guaranteed Auto, Cooper Farms, Citizen’s National Bank, Merkle Insurance, Kenn-Feld Group, Taylor Auto Sales, Straley Realty & Auctioneers, Purmort Brothers Insurance, Lee Kinstle’s GM Sales & Service, and First Bank of Berne. Those wanting to donate can do so by contacting Sue Heppeard at 419.238.9121.
