Evelyn May Rickard

Evelyn May Rickard, 85, of Convoy, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born April 23, 1929, in Lykens, the daughter of Dewey Lawrence and Alma Lucille (Michener) Rickard, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include a brother, Marion D. (Barbara A.) Rickard of rural Convoy; five nieces and nephews; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 27, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tom Shobe officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Friday, December 26, at the funeral home.
