Dale Ross Foltz

Dale Ross Foltz, 71, of Van Wert, died at 9:42 p.m. Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born February 17, 1943, in Van Wert, the son of Ross and Helen (Shaw) Foltz, who both preceded him in death. On July 11, 1964, he married Dianne (Cooper) Foltz, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include two children, Amber C. (Brent) Gibson of Ohio City and Anessia F. (Kirk) Dougal of Van Wert; a brother, Gordon K. (Dorothy) Foltz of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two brothers-in-law, Roy (Betty) Cooper and Dwight Cooper, both of Van Wert; and six grandchildren.

Private family funeral services will be conducted at a later date.

Calling hours are from 3-8 p.m. Monday, December 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.

Preferred memorials: Middle Point EMS or Bethel United Methodist Church in rural Van Wert County.
