VW girl bowlers bow to Coldwater, Celina

ST. MARYS — The Lady Cougars varsity bowling team dropped both matches of a double-header earlier this week to fall to 0-5 on the season.

Van Wert girls lost to a very strong Coldwater squad by a score of 2,001 to 1,317 in the first match at Varsity Lanes in St. Marys. Individual games were as follows:

Annessah Youtsey, 98; Ashley Matthews, 83; Caitlin Ireland, 122, 92; Sarah Linser, 125, 111; Brianna Kesler, 81; and Jessica Smith, 93.

Baker games were 135 and 98.

In their second match, the Lady Cougars lost to Celina 1,831-1,272. Individual games were as follows:

Youtsey, 117, 115; Smith, 98; Linser, 121, 144; Dayna Gay, 118, 105; Ireland, 83.
