Tammy Marie (Blackmore) Tribolet

Tammy Marie “Mammy” (Blackmore) Tribolet, 55, of Van Wert, died at 10:04 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born June 15, 1959, in Hampton, Virginia, the daughter of Jack R. Blackmore and Peggy L. (Parsons) Blackmore, who both survive in Van Wert. On May 13, 1987, she married Bruce Lee Tribolet, who also survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include her stepmother, Gwenda Blackmore of Van Wert; a son, Carl William (Courtney) Walters II of Cloverdale; two daughters, Tasha (Jon) Okuly and Jessica Walters, both of Van Wert; four brothers, Timothy Charles (Cathy) Blackmore of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jeffrey Alan Blackmore, Gregory Scott (Sheri) Blackmore, and Matthew Todd (Tabitha) Blackmore, all of Van Wert; a sister, Emily Blackmore of Van Wert; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and her maternal grandmother, Susie Courtney.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, January 12, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Paul Hamrick officiating.

Calling hours are from 1-6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
