Betty J. (Talboom) Wegesin

Betty J. (Talboom) Wegesin, 92, died Sunday, February 1, 2015, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born December 5, 1922, the daughter of Leon and Bessie (Fair) Talboom, who both preceded her in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Kathy (Bill) Hittle, Karen Suever, Nancy Saum, and Judy (John) Rable; a son, Hank (Cheryl) Wegesin; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Fry, Bertha (Bob) Zink, and Audra Ann (Tony) Bowers; and one brother, Ed (Sandy) Talboom.

A brother, John Talboom, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 5, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Ron Schock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos.
