Local group to make Valentines for Vets

Buckeye Y Youth Inc. will be hosting an event to make valentines for disabled veterans at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 in Van Wert on Monday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m.

The VFW color guard is planning to begin the event with a flag presentation and the “Pledge of Allegiance”.

The public is invited to join youth and adult members in making these Valentine’s cards and craft projects for veterans. Refreshments will be served and the Valentines for Vets party cake will be made by the new bakery “Truly D’Vine”.

Enter the hall through the Jackson Street door. Buckeye Y Youth Inc. is a United Way agency and a Van Wert County Foundation grant recipient.
