Knights rack up wins
By Seth Moser
The boys’ basketball team defeated Paulding Friday 57-48 in a hard-fought game. Then Saturday, the boys played Celina but couldn’t come out with a win. Celina beat the Knights 48-59 at Crestview. “ I feel like we could improve by rebounding better, and playing better team defense,” said Cody Mefferd. The boys will be playing Spencerville at home Friday.
Another event occurred on Saturday as Knight Vision travelled to Bishop Dwenger for the Summit Choir Invitational. They came back being Grand Champions in the Small School Division. “I feel the students adapted very well to performing in a gymnasium and being timed on set-up and tear down. The students were great and the audience went crazy,” said director Mrs. Hancock. Knight Vision will be attending another competition at DeKalb Feb. 14 and another one at Anderson Feb. 28.
The girls’ basketball team has been on fire! They are still undefeated and just beat the Paulding Panthers 78-15. Most of all the girls on the team had the chance to be a part of the game last Thursday. “We work really hard, we have our goals set, and we achieve them,” said Mackenzie Riggenbach.
