VWPD seeks info on pharmacy break-in

The Van Wert City Police department is seeking information on a van and two individuals believed to be involved in a break-in that occurred at Clark’s Pharmacy, 1166 S. Shannon St. in Van Wert.

According to police, at least two individuals pulled up in a white van at approximately 9:25 p.m. Saturday, February 7, and broke into the pharmacy.

Police said the men attempted to break into the back door first and then succeeded at the drive-through window. Both men captured on security cameras were wearing ski masks. The suspects also cut a coaxial cable leading to the store to try to disable the alarm and video equipment.

No information has been released at this time on what was taken from the pharmacy.

Anyone who saw this van before or after this crime can either call the police department at 419.238.2462 or Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867). Callers will not have to give their name or reveal their identity.

If a person’s information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000.
