Knight JV softball team sweeps Tinora

Crestview’s junior varsity softball team swept Tinora Saturday.  In the first game, the Lady Knights won by a score of 13-3. Leading the team was Darcci Swager, who went 4-for-4 with three singles and a double; and Mariah Henry, who added two doubles. Leigha Taylor was the winning pitcher, allowing only five hits in five innings of work.

The Lady Knights struck again in the second game, winning 12-1. Courtney Grote was the winning pitcher and allowed just four hits in six innings on the mound. Offensively, Nicki Sheets had a two-run home run and a double, and Mariah Henry again added two doubles.
