Mary Lou Taylor

Mary Lou Taylor, 80, of Rockford, died at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born May 4, 1934, in Union Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of Doyle B. and Jennie J. (Mefferd) Stuckey, who both preceded her in death. Survivors include three children, Deborah (Rick) Temple of Rockford, Timothy J. (Ronda) Taylor of Lexington, Tennessee, and Matthew A. (Sheri) Taylor of Van Wert; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two sisters, Naomi (Jane) Mason of Convoy and Delores (John) Myers of Van Wert.

A grandson, Ryan Temple; one sister, Ruby McCoy; a brother, William B. Stuckey; and two brothers-in-law, Robert McCoy and Richard Mason, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, March 12, and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
