Wilma J. Snyder

Wilma J. Snyder of Van Wert died at 10:56 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born June 15, 1927, in Paulding County, the daughter of Lafayette and Alma (Keysor) Foust, who both preceded her in death. On June 11, 1949, she married Dale E. Snyder, who died July 7, 2000.

Survivors include a son, James D. (Kristie) Snyder of Van Wert; a brother, Robert (Sue) Foust of Westerville; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, Ray and Carl Foust, and a sister, A. Eileen Rethmel, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the funeral home.
