Gloria Anne Harrell Evans Mollenkopf
Gloria Anne Harrell Evans Mollenkopf was born September 10, 1934, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Ishmael and Irene (Roy) Evans, who both preceded her in death.

She was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and graduated from North Side High School with honors in business.
Over the span of her life, Gloria worked as an administrative assistant and secretary for Platka Export, Aeroquip, Robbins & Meyers and Online Computer Library Center.
She loved history, sewing/crafting and was an avid world traveler. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for more than 40 years, was a former volunteer at the Ohio Village, and actively involved with the Discovery Shop, as well as the American Cancer Society.
Her purpose was to show that one can live with cancer and have an active and enjoyable life after such a diagnosis.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann (Jeffrey) Ball; grandsons Edward and Matthew; brothers Norman Eugene (Valera) and Gary Allen (Judith); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was not a cookie-making grandma, but the one who always had pop in the refrigerator and an occasional 20-dollar bill.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High St. in Columbus, with services to be held immediately after.
Preferred memorials: American Cancer Society, in Gloria’s honor.
