Christopher G. Pollock

Christopher G. Pollock, 56, of Van Wert, died Monday morning, July 6, 2015, at his residence.

He was born November 26, 1958, in Van Wert, the son of Rolland G. “Red” and Bonnie Lou (Smith) Pollock, who both preceded him in death.

Survivors include a brother, Michael A. (Kimberly) Pollock of Perrysburg; and two sisters, Cynthia (David) Streicher of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Loretta (Greg) Wahmhoff of Van Wert.

Christopher was a custodian at Van Wert High School and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert. He was also an instructor at the YMCA of Van Wert County and loved to long-distance cycle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Gary Ginter officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 2-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
