Parks dept. sets flag football registration

The Van Wert Parks Department encourages those interested in flag football this fall to turn in their registration forms. Registration will be accepted the entire month of July.

Registration forms can be obtained on the Van Wert Parks and Recreation website at www.vanwertparksrecreation.weebly.com or picked up at the Parks Department office, 137 Gleason Ave. in Van Wert.

The age groups will consist of 5-7 and 8-10 year olds. All games will be on Tuesday at Smiley Park for ages 5-7, and Thursdays for 8-10 year olds.

New this year will be the addition of a cheerleading program. The cost and age groups are the same. Fees will include a t-shirt, skirt, pom pons and socks.
