Darrell Lee Brodbeck

Darrell Lee Brodbeck, 73, of Rockford, and formerly of Willshire, died at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Lima Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient.

He was born June 22, 1942, in Willshire, the son of Roy and Rosie (Garwood) Brodbeck, who both preceded him in death. On October 9, 1970, he married Mary (Swoveland) Brodbeck, who survives in Rockford.

Other survivors include four sons, Philip, Roger, Amos and Matthew Brodbeck; seven grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy (Don) Lhotka of Grand Meadow, Minnesota; and a brother, Earl (Marjorie) Brodbeck of Willshire.

A sister, Helen Hogan; and an infant brother, also preceded him in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Willshire Cemetery, with Cliff Rice officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
