SCOTT — The Scott Fire and EMS Department will be having a fundraiser picnic on Saturday, August 1, at Bresler Park in the village.

The menu for the meal will include sausage sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, soft drinks or water for a free-will donation.

The event will also include a cornhole tournament, with the winner taking half of the registration fee revenues. Contact Jeff Cotterman at 419.203.9677. Registration will close at 10:30 a.m. August 1.

A raffle will also be held, with the prize a month of horseback riding lessons, while Parkview Regional Medical Center’s Samaritan life-flight helicopter is expected to be on hand that day. Proceeds from the event will go to purchase an automatic suction valve for the department.
