Franklin Park groundbreaking planned

The Van Wert County Foundation, along with Scott and Nikki Niswonger, cordially invite the public to the groundbreaking of the Franklin Park project.

The event will be held at the site of the former Franklin Elementary School, 305 Frothingham St. in Van Wert.

The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, July 31. Brief comments will be given, followed by a public unveiling of the schematic design of the park. An honorary first dig will conclude the ceremony.
