Evergreen Garden Club to have plant sale

The Evergreen Garden Club will host a perennial plant sale in Fountain Park on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 8 a.m.  Fountain Park is located at the corner of Main and Jefferson streets in downtown Van Wert, across from Brumback Library.

A large selection of many varieties of perennial plants dug from the garden club members’ own gardens will be available for sale at reasonable prices.

All proceeds from the sale will be used for civic beautification projects sponsored by The Evergreen Garden Club. These projects include Fountain Park plantings, Christmas decorating at The Brumback Library, and maintaining the herb garden at the Van Wert Historical Museum and the friendship garden at Camp Clay.
