Photos of local events invited

It should be an interesting meeting when the Van Wert Area Photography Club meets this Thursday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m. at 114 S. Race St.  Members are invited to bring their three best pictures on a flash drive for projection and discussion of any, or all, of the following events:  the Downtown Photo Shoot, Area Flooding, the 127 Garage Sale, and the Ribfest.

The club was saddened to hear of the passing of VWAPC member, Jack Trinosky on Aug. 6.  Several members represented the club at his memorial service on Tuesday, Aug. 11, to express condolences to his family.  The club will also give a memorial in his memory.

After comparing and discussing the photos, the group will adjourn to Woodland Cemetery for a photo shoot if circumstances are favorable for outdoor photography.

Visitors are always welcome, but are cautioned that there are 4 steps to climb with a handrail on the left.
