Lincolnview cross country information

HAVILAND — The Lincolnview Lancer Cross Country teams competed in the Wayne Trace Invitational on Tuesday night.  The Lancer boys took home the first place trophy, scoring 79 points, while the Lady Lancers took home the runner-up trophy, scoring 74 points.

Top seven finishers for the boys were Karter Tow (12th), Austin Elick (13th), Andrew Fickert (16th), Trevor Neate (18th), Alek Bowersock (20th), Jacob Keysor (23rd), and Ryan Rager (54th).

Top seven finishers for the girls were Abbie Enyart (eighth), Anna Gorman (ninth), Trinity Welch (19th), Alena Loser (20th), Brayden Langdon (21st), Madeline Snyder (26th), and Rylee Byrne (44th).

“It was an interesting night for the girls team; several of the girls struggled with some physical issues during the race,” said Lincolnview Coach Matt Langdon. “Fortunately, we had a couple of our girls really step up.

“The season is very young, but consistency is going to be something that the girls need to learn,” Coach Langdon added. “The boys won the meet despite not running their best team race. There were several solid performances, though, and hopefully that is something that we can build on going into the race this weekend.”
