Lady Lancers down Marion Local in golf

CELINA — The Lincolnview Lady Lancer golf team traveled to the Mercer County Elks Golf Course to take on the Marion Local Flyers in non-conference action Monday evening. The Lancers prevailed, 220-234, to move to 5-3 on the season.

Leading the way for the Lancers was match medalist Makenzie Kraft, who shot the low score of 46. She was followed by teammate Macala Ashbaugh’s 49, good enough for runner-up medalist honors. McKenzie Davis tallied a 61, with Marissa Miller posting a 64. Madison Shepherd chipped in a 74

The Lancers will return to action today at Deerfield Golf Course near Rockford to take on Midwest Athletic Conference members the Parkway Panthers and Versailles Tigers.
